The link to our classroom blog is underlined by some great looking students.

Our weekly spelling list showcases the words for the quiz on Monday.

Yessirree...we are a great looking bunch!

We have practised the letter Bb.

In gym we run around the perimeter of the gymnasium three times...

...then we take a seat on the black circle.

Some good-looking lads.

Some great looking female athletes as well.

We stand...

...to stretch...

...in order to...

...limber up the leg muscles.

We also work...

...the arm muscles.

They follow along nicely.

Looking good.

This week we broke off into smaller groups...

...in the four corners...

...of the gym.

We practised passing the soccer ball around the group.

We used the side of our foot for passing purposes.

Looks great!

We also practised receiving a pass.

The students love gym.

Then we took turns running down the length of the gym...

...in groupings of two...

...passing the ball to each other.

Then it was game time.

Eager participants.

Lots of action.

Chase that ball.

A crowded house.

They are being encouraged to spread out.

But they love to congregate after the ball.

Getting exercise.

Keeping their eyes on the ball.

Super fun!

This week we headed outdoors.

We gathered in the outdoor classroom.

We're just...

...hanging around...

...out in the sun!

Smile for the camera!

Some new structures for the junior students...

...on the far side of the portapack.

Mr. Hamer ran choir in the Learning Commons over lunch.

Lots of students came out.

They assembled around the pit.

The sign-up sheets for each grade.

Mrs. Blackmore directs the choir.

Mme Ani assists with French songs.

We are back in class.

The students share...

...their written efforts...

...from their first week's homework.

We coloured the background...

...and the area that runs down the side of the page.

The children were thrilled to share...

...their summer experiences...

...with their classmates.

Looks great!

Some down time...

...when we complete our seatwork...

...or our group work.

Construction efforts.

Creative solving attempts...

...with the Rubics Cube.

An art book.

More building going on.

What's this?

Our class is being invaded...

by Ms. Delaney...

She earns a check mark.

Meanwhile...

...over in the junior yard...

...during recess...

...the children congregate for the music.

Or...they rehearse for their audition with Cirque du Soleil.

Back in class...

...we place our finished and corrected work...

...into our binders.

Then we go through our work to assess how we have done.

Lots of   learning!

End of day fun.

Every day...

...is a great day in our class.

Have a great weekend everyone!
